Notes:

I'm back. Looking forward to connecting with many of you. However, I'm not sure if Father would have me continue this next chapter here or write a new one. Either way, I hope you will journey with me into the next phase with Jesus Christ through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Wait on God

Psalm 62:1 "My soul waits in silence for God only; from Him is my salvation." (NASB)

When I started MrsProverbs31, my sole purpose was to encourage women to have a more intimate relationship with God. I wanted them to be encouraged to have this relationship regardless of what the world thinks of them. We as women, live in a self-fulfilling prophesy. We want to be the best, not just in one thing, but in all things. We want others to see us as worthy and desirable to be around. Thus, we work harder to present ourselves as worthy to the world, forgetting His purpose for us-to wait on Him, allowing Him to use us to present His glory to the world.

God alone is master and creator, and from Him alone comes salvation. In order to fully experience salvation and the blessing of doing His will, we must be willing to wait with great anticipation as He unfolds His power and goodness moment by moment through us. If we understand that only God can provide salvation for us, and without Him, we can do nothing, then we know that the best thing we can do for ourselves is to wait on Him.

If we are still unwilling to wait on Him and for Him, then this intimate relationship with Him has not been manifested in us and our claim of it is defective. Waiting on God should be a joy and our brightest hope. Only when we are willing to be dead to ourselves, allowing Him the full power in us, will His glory manifest through us.

May we experience the joy of waiting on Him.
